Idleness
The only effective way to calm cats' sexual desires and cats is castration. It may sound cruel, but if we want our cat or cat to have a long and serene existence it is the only solution.
Furthermore, the proliferation capacity of cats is such that, if we let them breed without control, our planet would become the cat's planet.
Therefore, nothing can prevent our cats' amorous escapades, except surgery. For females there are medicines estrus inhibitors, but permanent medication causes health problems for the cat. For this reason, sterilization is much more recommended, which also involves many other advantages.
adventurous hunters
Both cats and female cats like to hunt. They are physically, mentally and genetically designed by nature for this purpose.
Try it out: if you're sitting on the sofa watching the TV turned up at high volume and your cat remains calm in the same place, just scratch the sofa a little with your nails, making a soft noise. You can immediately see that the cat is alert. He heard a noise similar to what rodents make during their feeding. Despite the volume of ambient noise, the cat can catch the noise of your fingers scratching the sofa. If you continue to make that noise, the cat will locate the source of it, and will approach attentively with all its muscles ready to jump on the prey.
Urban cats don't have nearly this kind of stimuli, but felines that live in a rural environment are perfectly prepared to do it. night hunts in search of prey. That's why they're so shiny and silky, because they complement their feed diet with what they hunt.
You can give rag mice to urban cats so that they can stimulate their predatory instincts indoors. Dedicating time to play with our cat is very important to keep him entertained and avoid looking for fun elsewhere.
bored cats
Cats that are the only pet in the house, tend to run away more than those who live together in pairs or more. The reason is that a solitary cat is much more bored than two felines who live together and cuddle, play and fight once in a while.
The desire to know different things and escape the daily monotony of walls, schedules, meals and care received, makes some cats want to run away from home.
One playmate It is ideal for your cat pets. Diet changes, new toys, and a little more quality time with him will also be positive.
Accidents

If they fall from a first floor, they usually survive and stay nestled waiting for you to come down to pick them up. For a while they will be more careful. Read our article on what to do if this happens.
I've been around cats for some time now, and I've had several experiences, some happy and others sadder because of feline mistakes and mistakes that were fatal.
This type of behavior, known as parachute cat syndrome, is very dangerous and must be avoided with all kinds of measures: nets, bars, fences.
miss spock
miss spock it was the first cat I adopted for my house and my second pet after a guinea pig. Spock was pretty despite having a pigtail, but he liked to play even more.
It was an extraordinary pet that lived a good life in my house, playing constantly. But everything has an end.
Spock was in the habit of perching on a window in a small secondary bathroom. He raised the exhaust and there with a graceful leap he climbed to the bottom of the window. That window looked out onto an inner courtyard with ropes that neighbors used to hang clothes. Spock loved watching the ladies hang out their clothes.
Every time he saw her there, he scolded her and closed that window. She used to stop there for a while, but obviously a bathroom window has to be opened from time to time.
One day we operated on Spock for a belly cyst, and the vet commented that we shouldn't move the cat too much so the stitches wouldn't open. So that weekend we didn't take her to our second home as we always did and she was left alone at home. We left enough feed, water and clean sand for the 48 hours that we would be away, as had happened once or twice.
When we returned, he did not come to greet us with the frequency so typical of the Siamese. I found it strange once that Spock was very affectionate. The whole family started calling for her and looking for her, but without anyone losing their minds. This is because once, we were on vacation and she disappeared for more than half a day and we went crazy looking for her, driving our car through all the streets in the city and surroundings. This time Spock was sleeping curled up inside an empty suitcase inside a closet in my bedroom.
Returning to the fateful day, I passed the small bathroom and saw the window open. At that moment my skin froze. I looked down and Spock's lifeless little body lay on the dark floor of the inner courtyard.
That weekend it rained. So the edge of the window slipped. Spock jumped as it did a hundred times, but wetness, wound, and bad luck played against it. They played against the whole family, because in this cruel way we lost Miss Spock, a much loved cat.
