LaPerm cat: origin

This beautiful feline breed came from a genetic modification that occurred spontaneously in a litter born in the barn of some American farmers, specifically in the state of Oregon and with a curious characteristic, some of the puppies were born bald and did not develop their coat until a few months had passed.

The LaPerms are cats from average size, with females weighing between 3 and 5 kilos and males between 4 and 6, being also a little taller. Its body is strong and fibrous, with marked musculature that its fur hides. Its strong hind legs are a little longer than the front ones. The tail is wide at the base and a little thinner at the tip, having a thick and long coat of hair.

The head is, like the body, medium in size, triangular in shape and ending in a long snout, whose nose is also long and straight. The ears are wide and triangular, with small tufts of fur, similar to a lynx. Its eyes are oval and the color varies by cloak.
