O American Bully is a dog of North American origin, it is a mixture between American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier and also has more distant relatives such as the English Bulldog and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. It is recognized primarily by the UKC (United Kennel Club).

Physical appearance
It is an athletic dog, strong, very muscular and powerful, with a big dominant head and a compact body that becomes a little intimidating. We are faced with a medium sized robust breed that has a very strong jaw and a not very long tail.
We can find this breed in many different colors from brown, through blue to black, although in general they are usually dark in color, we did not find albino specimens. Many owners of this wonderful breed have the habit of cutting off their ears, something that we totally advise against.
It is a dog with a physical strength superior to other breeds, attributed by the genetic inheritance he received from his predecessors, Pit Bull and Amstaff.
There are 5 different types of American Bully:
- American Bully Pocket: It's the smallest size of all the American Bully types known so far, small and muscular and full of energy and vitality.
- American Bully Classic: Of all, it is the most proportionate and has a medium size, it is the thinnest of all, despite being a muscular dog, strong with endurance appearance.
- American Bully Standard: Medium in size, the Standard is the model that inspires the entire breed. Muscled, medium in size and with a powerful head has the best attributes.
- American Bully Extreme: Much like the American Bully Standard it has twice your muscular appearance. Broad and powerful conveys a unique wild look.
- American Bully XL: Similar to the American Bully Classic, it is much bigger than its other race companions. It is more proportionate and stylized although with strong muscles.

They have a slight tendency to develop cataracts, hip dysplasia, heart problems, elbow dysplasia, allergies, hypothyroidism, and deafness.

The Bully is a muscular dog that must exercise properly. must do at least 3 big rides a day with him, so as not to suffer from anxiety or lack of motivation at home. It is not a dog for long distance or endurance races, as transporting its body at high speeds requires a lot of effort.
